Maestro battery charger

Has anyone setup a dual Maestro power supply / battery charger?.
If not, my idea is to use a cheap Amazon Buck converter (DC-DC down converter), these are £8 for two and will take the barrel connector as 13.8V input, also has a paralled terminal connection to extend the 13.8V to another barrel connector to power the Maestro
With two 5A USB sockets, 1A & 2A, the 2A will nicely charge an internal 10A battery.
Some batteries will charge and deliver power, so you could dispense with the 12v output to the Maestro and handle everything via the battery for a potentially cleaner supply, albeit losing Ethernet.
The INIU Power Bank, LED Display 10000 mAh Portable Charger is autostart and supports charging while supplying power, it should fit in the battery compartment too at 5.1 x 2.7 x .6 inch.

An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
