+ACC button - what does it do?

On my 6400 the +ACC button doesn't seem to do anything.  My assumption was that I could use both MIC input and external audio input via the rear accessory connector by enabling the +ACC button.  I can select one or the other by clicking on the MIC button and selecting ACC, but can't seem to get both to work simultaneously.  Am I doing something wrong?

    That's how it works just 1 hardware input at a time UNLESS your using the DAX lines for Computer Computer program interfacing.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
