Won't transmit with 2.6.1

I'm using a third-party client to access my 6500, not SmartSDR.  I updated my radio from 2.5.1 to the latest 2.6.1, and rebuilt my client with the associated FlexLib.  Sometimes, if I run my client without having rebooted the radio, it just won't transmit.  I'm using CW, and it won't transmit when closing the key or sending data via CWX.
Any thoughts?

I am using 2.6.1 with my radio at 2.6.1.
I'm still experiencing this issue, and need to solve it.  If I disconnect my client from the radio, and then connect later, let's say after at least an hour, the radio won't transmit.  It also won't even key at all.  By this I mean that if breakin is not enabled, the normal behavior is to present a tone in the monitor when the key is pressed.  That also doesn't happen in the case I describe.

This only occurs with CW, and all that is important is the level the radio is at, 2.6.1 or later.  The work around is to keep the client connected to the radio, not acceptable for a remote situation.  I have not seen any response from the folks at Flex.  Apparently this is not something seen by anyone else, but is a serious situation in my opinion.
