FlexControl stopped

FlexControl stopped working.  I assume my PC (Win10) auto updated overnight, since all my open programs were gone this morning.  SmartSDR  no longer recognizes FlexControl.  

Where to look?  I assume the USB drivers are messed up...

    I am surprised unplugging the  Flex control and plugging it back in does not reset the USB settings.

    didn't work...  tried several USB ports, restarted the PC.  the 3 lights/legends on the Control are on...

    Go into devices and check what port it's on and that it is not sharing that port with anything else. If it is just move it to another unused port.

    After a number of reboots and using different USB ports on the PC, ran SmartSDR once and FlexControl worked...  now I can't get SmartSDR to connect to the 6400 again.  Keep getting "Unable to get to the radio" messages.  Maestro works fine...  time for some playing around and then start a new issue thread.

    Frank,

    It's a network issue,   make sure that the radio and computer are on the same IP subnet.    Try remove the DC from the radio and back up,  if still fails,  how do you have the radio and computer connected to your network??

    Hi Dudley,

    All is OK now.  I did 2 things at once, uninstalled all previous versions of SmartSDR then reinstalled current version.  then, as you suggested,  cut DC to the 6400 and restarted it.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
