Unable to remove smart control mode box from radio display

Hi all. I have a problem. I updated to 3.1.8. No problems. Except I cannot get the smart control mode off my radio screen. It is working properly but I only have the ability to exit the smart control mode box which ends smart control. Anybody have a suggestion thanks Russ K8QF

I only used smart control once but isn't that normal . . . The box stays up when in that mode??

Hi 

That sounds as it is working as designed.   When you Exit, it does end SmartControl.   

What would you think would happen next so I can understand your what you are seeing.

Thank you for the replies . I thought the box would go away so I could see the waterfall on the radio and the computer monitor. I really like the ability to use the 6400m controls to make changes on the computer monitor. Maybe being able to see both will happen in a later update. Again thanks for the replies Russ Conklin. K8QF
