What exactly is the multiflex change in V3.1.7?

I just installed the latest upgrade on my 6600M.  During the upgrade, an error window appeared briefly, but disappeared and the upgrade apparently completed.  At least the radio says it's on the latest load.

I also installed the new load on my Maestro.  That went without any problems.  The same can be said after problem-free installations on two Windows PCs  So, now I'm exploring it's new operation.

The release notes talk about some sort of improvement between using the Maestro and the buttons on the 6600M.  What exactly is that improvement?  They worked before and they still do.

Also we can now monitor the other operator using your radio along with your own. Sweet

Thank you very much!  I'm still exploring the new release and how it has changed the interaction between the Maestro and my 6600m.  It seems to be very cool!

I am frequently confused between comments for multioperators and Windows PCs controlling the transceivers.  I am a single operator operating from two locations; Studio B which is the basement where the radio is and studio D which is on the deck and where the Maestro is.  Clearly, at any one time there is only one operator, but two locations.

Anyway, getting a new load with new features is like Christmas in September.
