New Issue with DAX after Win10 upgradee

Member ✭✭
edited June 2020 in SmartSDR for Windows
After latest Win 10 Upgrade I get the following message when starting Dax - "Warning DAX driver may not have installed correctly.  Another application has exclusive use of DAX Reserved Audio."  I click the okay button on the warning and DAX seems to be working fine.

This is a new install of 2.5.1

This has become a regular feature of life. Windows 10 Updates tend to corrupt audio drivers from many manufacturers, not just DAX. Search "Windows 10 Update" on this forum for repair instructions.

    Bob,

Not sure which of the many emails you are referring to.  I did the Revouninstall thing with mixed results and still get the same message.   Are there other directions in here I am not finding?

One or more of the drivers are not named correctly after the Win 10 update.

If you need a hand straightening it out, please email me direct at wo2x at arrl dot net.
We can do a TeamViewer session so you can see how to fix it.

Go to the community itself: https://community.flexradio.com and enter "Windows 10 Update" in the search box at the top. Dozens of entries.
