Maestro won't transmit SSB-Newbie!

Just connected my new Maestro/6400 combo and the receive is great. However when I connected my Heil Pro 7 with PTT foot switch to the Maestro I have no RF on transmit according to my meter. Yes I selected Mic2 on Maestro. I then tried the Flexradio mike on the back of the 6400M, again, no dice..I am sure I am missing something simple but can't figure it out. Switched back to my KX3, no problem getting the needle on my wattmeter to move.Help!

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
