N1MM DVK remote - anyone have it working?

I am a long time smart link user and have enjoyed cw contesting using N1MM. I am going to try a remote SSB contest but want to use N1MM to plat wav file CQs.

I know how to set up N1MM/SSDR to play wav files when I am in front of the radio and have a mic plugged into the rig itself. I cannot work out how to do this with a mic plugged into a remote PC as AFAIK I would have to be forever toggling DAX/sound card inputs. Has anyone solved this?

Thanks!

Yes this is a problem I have had for over 1.5 years since I went full remote, PAIN IN THE NECK for sure having to switch the DAX button back and forth.
Hope this is on the fix-it list.
If you find any workaround please let us know.

FRLogger has a nice audio feature that will turn dax on when you play one of your wav files and turns dax back off when its done.

Thanks for replies so far. If FRlog can do it then there must be a cat command that can toggle DAX. I wonder what that is and if we could get it added to N1MM.
