Does it do this after a radio DC power reset (pull power off for 15 seconds or so), my 6700 has done this for a long time after a week or so of being on all the time as I run my radio as a server and don't turn it off.
Seems to NOT effect TX just irritating for sure.

Ken, are the pops and the TX spikes you are seeing two different problems or are the pops occurring at the same time as the spikes?

If the pops and spikes are there and occurring together I'd open a trouble ticket with support.
