My remote laptop has version 2.49. Want to use WSJT-X on the laptop as well so I can log qso's locally. I can log in to all 3 Smart  SDR, Smart DAX and Smart CAT and it works fine on SSB and CW but cannot get the frequency to read on WSJT-X. I think I have the Server set wrong on the WSJT-X setup page as I am logging into the Smart Server. Does anyone have the proper settings to make it read the frequency when working remote. I would love also to read the Frequency in Commander from DX Labs , DX keeper if anyone has the proper config to help me out? Other than that works fine drives KPA amp. You can answer me direct at n2bj@comcast.net
Thank you. Barry  N2BJ

Once you have CAT functioning through your SmartLink login, you should be good to go. You will need to decide whether you are going to do CAT thru serial or IP. If serial, use the serial port you set up (there are defaults) and specify it in wsjt-x CAT panel - I believe many people use Kenwood protocol for that.. I use, and prefer, using the Flex6xxx setting with address 127.0.0.1:5002 (or whatever TCP port you have configured) in the wsjt-x Radio configuration. I also prefer PTT thru CAT control. Hope I read your question correctly, it was not all that clear. You did not mention DAX, so I assume audio is not an issue for you. If you search the community, you should find many threads with guidance.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
