Comparing S-Meters between 6300/6400 with V1/V2?

Chasing down noise here I have 2 separate FLEX stations with separate but identical antennas aimed similarly and spaced several hundred feet apart. One station runs a 6300/V1 and the other a 6400/V2. Coax losses should be similar.
My question is: Knowing FLEX quality, can I assume the S-point spread between the two stations monitoring the same frequency at the same moment in time will be accurate enough to be meaningful?
TNX- Dave.

Dave,
Lab measured S-meter accuracy is typically within 0.1 dBm at S-9. All radios undergo a factory automated test for accuracy prior to shipment.
The only way you can be truly certain is to test your rigs directly into the antenna connector using known NIST calibrated test equipment and cables.

The S meter on A Flex is lab grade accuracy.0

Can you explain what noise you are trying to measure?0

Thanks for the comments.
Noise was mostly steady S3 here for years then popped up to a mixed S8 24/7. Got it down to S6 but need to find some more. (Is S5 at the alternate antenna.) Everything is underground within 1/4 mile but lots of new construction in this booming area. Wish you were here to help chase it down, Jeff. -Dave.
