How do I: WSJTX N1MM ARRL RTTY RU

January 5 is the ARRL RTTY Round Up permitting FT-8 this year.
I am seeing a lot of discussion about using N1MM+ with it's new
WSJT-X decode and DUPE window, but I can't get that working with
my Flex 6600. The N1MM docs for this do not include detailed
examples that would apply to Flex 6xxx SmartCAT setup, for example.
Has anyone gotten this combination working on SmartSDR?
WSJT-X, N1MM+, and have them cooperating so the N1MM WSJT
Decode window works? If so, are you willing to share configuration
on the N1MM+ side and SmartCAT port side? I am a rookie with
N1MM+ and previously had it configured for RTTY contests.
Not sure if I need to create new or additional CAT ports in SmartCAT.
I can;t get the top banner of the N1MM control window to show the
proper MODE, so when it goes into transmit, it is not putting out
what looks like an FT8 signal.
Cheers,
Neal

Using a 6500 here.
I followed this
http://n1mm.hamdocs.com/tiki-index.php?page=WSJT-X+Decode+List&structure=N1MM+Logger+Documentati...
which may be what you looked at.
I also have N1MM setup for RTTY. When you open a new log for the contest, change the mode from RTTY to Digital, and put you state in the exchange. It will put rst/state when you transmit.
No new CAT port, check everything the directions say to check in both WJST-X/N1MM.
Closed out JTAlert, and it worked.
