I own the Flex 6500.I took out the case fans for cleaning and removing dust but in order to replace them correctly, do they need to **** out?

Interesting. Do you attach them to the outside of the case or the inside

To the outside. On my ACOM amplifier I use for small magnets to hold it in place

Tnx! very good idé to do that.  Im soon gonna do yearly "clean out" of my 6700 and Acom amp. Will "implement" outside filters then :) My SPE Expert amp already have filter. Don't know why I haven't tought of it for the rest of my radios and amp's.
