N1MM Wave File Generation (SS SSB Contest)

I am using the Flex 6700 with a Maestro for contesting with the N1MM contesting software. I used Audacity to generate contest wave files for the SSB Sweep Stakes this past weekend. I followed the You Tube instructions of KM9P Ken that outlined how to monitor your own audio during the recording of wave files. I was able to successfully create wave files using Smart SDR and the N1MM+ keyboard macros to generate the code.
However, after all wave files were created, I disconnected the Smart SDR windows 10 machine and connected the Maestro to use for the contest with the same wave files created using Smart SDR and N1MM. .....
With the Smart SDR the playback of the files sounded fine.
When I switched from the Smart SDR to the Maestro as the contest control console and used the same wave files to generate the contest messages, I experienced latency or distortion effects when the audio files were launched. ................I did not have this distortion effect with use of Smart SDR....Only when the Maestro was connected over Ethernet........Any suggestions..?

Jim

I had similar distortion when creating wave files on the fly with N1MM. I fixed it be selecting lower bit rate in N1MM configuration panel under audio settings. I used 16 bit. Not sure that this will fix your issue.
