2 slice and Steppir issue

Could someone help me to figure out how to make Steppir not to folow slice where it not suppose to go.
Here is my issue:
Ant 1 - Steppir
And 2 -6m 6el separate monoband
Steppir connected to 6600 USB port with USB/RS232 adapter.

Now, with 2 slices ON, i monitor 6m with 6m 6el antenna on slice B.
Slice A on 17m with Steppir.
Anytime i make slice B active, Steppir follow up to 6m band.
When I click on slice A, Steppir will go there again.

If i am on 17m and will start TX on FT8 application of 6m, Steppir moves to 6m during TX and moving back to 17 when radio is going to RX. It makes a lot of unnecessary movement and reduce the speed of operation.
I checked Steppir controller SDA100, but do not see the option to dissable 6m band.
Is there anything can be done to stop Steppir to follow up slice B?
Thanks

Use DDUTIL and lockout the stepir going to 6m.

You can direct the USB port to follow a particular antenna or slice rather than the default which is to follow the TX slice.  Edit the USB port and select the source you want. If you select TX antenna you then have the choice of ANT1 or ANT2 or the transverter ports.

Kent, i would rather not use extra utility if i can.
Tom, I changed USB cable settings from "TX Panadapter" to "Slice" and it seems like did a trick. Good to know.
    Thanks a lot guys.
Going back to Flex and AG testing, actually it is mostly learning.
