Using DAX Audio RX1

Although my DAX control Panel v2.3.9 shows Slice A Streaming, I'm unable to input the audio to any program such as MMTTY, MixW, or FLDIGI
I get an error message "The sound card you have chosen (DAX Audio RX 1 (FlexRadio System is already in use or does not exist or does not support wave format.     The sound card operation is disabled"

How can I fix this?  Is this the result of something Windows changed?  Used to work fine

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
