balanced microphone connection for 6400

My brother is now a SK, and one of the many items I received from the family was a Condenser Microphone, boom, and Phantom power supply. It is an XRL output to a TRS connector. After much research and reading it appears that a Balanced Condenser mike will not work because of the ground on the sleeve.  I do run some voice nets so this would be nice to have as well as items I would use often in my shack that once belonged to my brother. If I missed a post regarding this let me know and I will look again. Ooops almost forgot the radio is a 6400 with a pseudo balanced input. Thanks in advance Tom WB8LDW

Tom, the 6400 will work with much any mic you use.
You can simply use an XLR to a TS connector transformer.

Thanks Bill. Found the connector online for 9.00 That solves the "ring" issue. After reading all of the various comments, I think I now understand.  Again Thanks  as the Mic and boom mean a lot to me and will have them on the air soon.
