6700 RX signal noise problem between ant 1 and 2

noise levels are stronger than the signals when switching RX and TX antenna selections with or without an antenna connected to either antenna port.  by switching the TX antenna to an unconnected port I get low back ground noise and can RX
-60db


-117 db


I think there may be a fault but have no way of diagnosing this.

the radio info is:-  

Serial: 3714-4168-6700-1264,
ID: 00-1C-2D-02-03-32,
RadioIP: 192.168.1.239,
Firmware: v2.3.9.112
ssdr version V2.3.9

I did try a roll back to V2.0.19 but made no difference.  

any help would be very much appreciated.

    Hi Nigel - I cannot duplicate the problem here with a 6600M (same HW Version) and two separate antennas attached to ANT1 and ANT2. The noise floor changes slightly without the antennas being connected, and the antennas are slightly different, but nothing unusual. What you're seeing looks extraordinary to me.

    I know it's probably overkill, but I keep a receiver guard on ANT2 because I only use it only for Rx. Good luck !

    Well i guess its time to raise a ticket for repair.  :(

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph.
