Ross Biggar
Ross Biggar Member ✭✭
I want to be able to use DAX IQ to record telemetry from various satellites. and the save the data to a .wav file.
My question is where is the data being saved, or else how do I save the downloaded data?

Advice please.

Use a third party program to record and select the appropriate Dax channel as the sound input

That will allow you to save it where ever you want and replay or send

Thanks Lee,  recording into Audacity worked perfectly.
Next I want to be able to output the file to a modem program which is running in the radio, what flexsetting should I use to get the output from Audacity .

    Regards
    Ross

Thats great news. In order to play the audio out of Audacity into the flex or you would select the dropdown box to the right of the speaker icon and use DAX Audio TX. That will send the audio to flex transmitter.

Is this what you are trying to accomplish ?

You can also record up to 192Khz with PowerSDR , running in Demo mode , DAXIQ as the audio input .
