I'm currently using latest version 2 software for FLEX 6500 and would like to start using LOG40M logger program. I  downloaded latest version of LOG40M but cant get the CAT interface working. Only rig model that is displayed is a Flex Radio 6xxx Beta. How do I populate the CAT Management table in LOG40M?
Thank you for your help

I setup omni rig and it works with log40m and flex6000 series . You will also need to download and install the omni rig rig files

I finally worked my way through the setup. I ended up with omnirig and was able to set up the CAT connection.
    Thanks

First, you have to download the .ini files from the same site as the omni rig program.  When setting up omni rig, choose SmartSDR for the rig type.  Here's what mine looks like.

Then, you have to setup a SmartCAT port.  Here's my setup for COM4 in SmartCAT.

Within Log4OM, to configure it all you have to do is choose Omni-Rig.

After you get the basic operation working, there is one other thing you will likely want to do.  I found that if I clicked on a spot in Log4OM, it would send it to the rig, and the rig would jump to the right frequency.  However, it would switch the Flex to CWL when I had it set to CWU.  I found this to be an annoyance, so I chose to edit the .ini file and switch the command string for CWU and CWL in the "set mode" section.  Good luck.
