6500 not turning on following 2 fast shut downs. I changed my station moving equipment to

Any internal fuses in the 6500?

usually a blown internal fuse would show in the front display of the 6500 as an error.0

Yes, there is a 30 amp fuse in the 6500 and if it was blown, the radio would do nothing when the power button was pressed.
Fast shut down could be your power supply crowbaring (if it has such a circuit).
Check your power supply first. If it does the same thing with a different p/s, open a HelpDesk ticket.0 -
Will do Tim. The power supply is an Astron SS-25. I have a bench 12 VDC supply.
The fuse was not blown. It does not turn on so I suspect there is damage else where.0 -
If the voltage isnt high enough it will shutdown, check the power pole connections.0

I have requested a ticket. I just mentioned 1 attempt to transmit. The bottom line is simply that it does not turn on.
