Transverter Power

Power output changes with a 2 meter transverter when I change frequency?? I set the power slider to 100 and then on the transverter page I set power to equal 10 watts with the slider at 100. When I change to another nearby frequency the power output changes?? I wonder if this is
a defect or am I missing something??

I used a transverter via xvtr port at a 6300.
The power-slider took no effect to the xvtr out pwr. Only the dbm value in the xvtr config-window at smartsdr. The power was stable for all frequencies in my case.

Likewise for me.0

Is this problem related to this. https://community.flexradio.com/flexradio/topics/transverter-transmit-profile-is-changing0

Steve,
Are you using any other software that communicates with the Flex, such as DDUtil? DDUtil's autodrive utility sets output power by band. If you change the slider and then change frequency the autodrive feature in DDUtil will do what you describe. But if you're not using DDUtil then I don't know what it could be. I don't see it here on my 6300.

Larry, I am not sure if it is related. I am hoping Tim reads this and lets me know. Doug, I am not using DDutil. Hopefully, like I said, Tim will contribute. Thanks for the replies.

The transverter port does not put out anything close to 10w.0

Sorry I was talking about the output of the transverter as it relates to the input supplied by the 6600.
