Maestro & PC

Can a Maestro run concurrently with a PC. I noticed when my PC is running the flex 6400 and I boot up Maestro it says the radio is busy. Is there a way to run the PC display with the Maestro in control or something of that nature? I've seen older posts of several years ago say that it would come with V2 of the software.

Thanks,

Not yet but hopefully soon in a future release of SSDR. Only one client at time can run the radio at this time.

K7URA, The term for it is multi-client, that and other items planned in V2.x. Looking forward to it myself. Playing tonight with the current version 2.2.8.40 sure is stable. Loving it!

Can you still use all knobs on Maestro while you running SSDR on PC?

    Hi Sergey,
No, not until multi-client is available.

    Thanks Al,
Ok, I did not know. I thought you will not see waterfall and all other on screen controls, but VFO and other knobs still would be accessible.
Well, Maestro seems like unusable if you have SSDR open.
Making my purchase decision more complicated :)
Hopefully it will be resolved soon.
