Hello All,Just a reflection on a problem I'm currently having...
I'm currently testing the 6600 with a Maestro at my uncles QTH in NC both Maestro and radio is connected to the Router LAN ports. We have a problem that sometimes when running 20 meters with an ACOM2000A some HF seems to find its way to the router. After a while something happens with the connection between the radio and the Maestro and it hangs in TX. A restart of both Maestro and the Flex 6600 is required to get it to work again.
I understand this is a problem for us to fix but it would be preferable it did not hang in TX when this happens.
I don't know if the same happens if I pull the network cable during transmission - but I will try that later.

Have you considered setting the transmitter time out timer? Won't stop the problem, but --should-- get you out of TX without a reboot.0

Yes good idea - otherwise running it remotely would not be so nice.0

Put ferrite cores on all of your communication cables to your PC. I had the exact same problem running my amplifier and it was the high RF in close proximity to the PC and unshielded cables that caused the problems.

Always do everything you can to keep RF out of the operating area. NOTHING works correctly with RF getting into it. RF is only for going out...........NOT for coming back.

Here is a RFI kits that should get you started

VERY Important RF chokes (Line Isolaters ) out on the feed line BEFORE it comes back into the Shack

I also use these on ALL my outside coax's and inside between the inside equipment ,The 15 Bead ones work very good on on HF -6M bands
