Anyone familiar with CyberPower UPSs?

I am looking at UPSs for my station, and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the CyberPower UPSs. I am specifically looking at: CP1000PFCLCD PFC Sinewave UPS System. Checking the archives it seems that APC gets the nod but these seem to also be rated very highly.
BTW, I am running a 6500 barefoot (at the moment ;-) with a desktop computer if that matters.
Thanks for your 2 cents.

I have an APC that I use for my two computers. The charging circuit generates a moving birdie that slides up and down 75 m. When I'm on the air I just turned it off as they are not the PCS that I use for my Flex.0

That interesting. First I have heard of that with an APC.0

I purchased several of the Cyberpower UPS from Newegg. They do not last like APCs. My experience with APC is that when the battery goes, you can bet a new battery and get another 2-3 years of life out of the UPS. With Cyberpower, the unit usually goes before the battery does. Not sure why but its just not as rugged.

I agree with Neal - for some reason I’ve had several Cyberpower UPS’s give up before the battery which has not been the case with my APC UPS’s.0

I had a Cyberpower 1000VA that looked similar to the one your looking at a few years ago. RF induced on the house power lines took it out (stopped working). They replaced it under warranty and the replacement got taken out also. I have a half dozen APC's around the house and never a problem with them.0

I use three of these:
Tripp Lite 1500VA Sine Wave UPS Back Up, 900W Line-Interactive, Tower, USB, DB9, 8 Outlets (SMC1500T)

I am running a Xfinity ups I've had for around 3 years now, a 2000va/1200w model that seems pretty good except for when it hits the batteries with a charge bump, it makes noise on at least two bands about every 3-4 seconds when the power is on. It runs three computers and the power supply for the radio for about an hour or so when power is off before it gets too low to hold. Then the four marine deep cycle batteries and 300 wts of solar maintain the radio and the laptop if needed. For the most part it has worked very well. I am planning to use two of the deepcycle's for 24 volt supply to the ups for backup extension time, any thoughts on this idea?..0
