Onscreen keyboard and Profiles

6400M running stand alone currently. I can create profiles then save them no issues, however when I go back and touch on the profile to select it then load it then I press on the name bar at the top of the screen so I can edit or change the name using the onscreen keyboard, many times I find that the onscreen keyboard pops up for a sec then is gone again.

I try to touch the right lower corner or swipe up on the touchscreen from the center but usually that has no effect. If I touch the bar with the name too long a tool tip shows up showing me the keyboard shortcuts to cut, copy or paste, but it still does not show the onscreen keyboard.

Is there a way to get the onscreen keyboard to show up when I just want to change the name of a profile I created then save it with the new name?

I think the cause is the built in computer is so busy doing other stuff with the radio that it doesn't honor the user input properly on the name bar because sometimes several seconds later the onscreen keyboard pops up then goes away since I have moved on and pressed other stuff.

In other words I am moving faster and ahead of the computer and by the time it gets around to honoring my on screen keyboard request I have already moved on to some other area and pressed other buttons and its still going down the list of commands I sent 30 seconds or so ago.

This behavior does not happen with any of the Menu items when I press them they open instantly regardless of what else is going on.

Suggestion:

Maybe a higher priority should be given to screen touch interrupts which relate or cause the on screen keyboard to appear and its input to be honored.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
