Ordered it on Oct 7, 2017 when I sold back my 6500 and Maestro (that had to be charged every 4 weeks).
6600 Shipped Monday March 5, arrived this AM March 8, 2018.
Big light metal box. About the same design, size and weight of a 4 slice toaster.

All the mic. key, and headphone connections on the back (to accommodate the M front) are a pain. Will make some 18" extensions to come out under the toaster.

I hear that from a few people and I wonder, are people needing to plug and unplug those things often? I am wondering how some operate. for me, I have things plugged into the back of my 6500 and just forget about it.

The hand mic. Is nice. But for contests, I use headsets. Plug and unplug...

I always seem to need another adapter or adapter cable and have made a 20” umbilical for key, mic, and headphones from the back of the 6400 (arriving via brown truck in a few hours). Parts Express keeps me supplied with connectors and I use surplus computer cables of which I seem to have accumulated hundreds. Looking forward to my new toaster.

Making an  umbilical cord for this sounds like a good shack project,,

When headphones connected, is audio output still enabled for external speakers? Thanks Sergey, KN7K
