Is there any way to save the recorded audio snippets from the radio for use later?

Imagine what value if the USB port would recognize a usb flash drive and allow muiltiple storage of not only profiles, but audio recordings, tuner results from the ATU etc.

I see a lot of value in the expansion of the abilities in the near future if Flex does not get side tracked with other new products ... :-)

Trying to be patient while waiting on my 6400M ...

    Hi Wayne,
You may be interested in this feature request . There is an idea posted to provide a "black box" recording feature and ability to save the files on the client side in SSDR (i.e. the PC).   Once there it would be easy to share the files or copy to the PC USB ports and thumbdrive, etc.

In the request thread there are some comments about how to do this today using third party tools.

Here is a link to the idea:

Add your vote and comments to the idea if it is something you would like to see.

Using Audacity works very well for this. It is easy to set up to record from a slice. Play back on air and save the recording to what ever format you wish.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
