SmartSDR update not updating

I held off for a while but today I decided to move 2.1.30 .   The radio is recognized but when I click on "update", it eventually hangs without any update progress . Windows 10.  I DID do a reboot after the install.

Did you see the radio firmware update on the radio by the power LED turning purple?

I took the back roads to this issue and things seem fine.  Went backwards from .19 to .17 and did the update to .30 and Updater is now making progress.  The fan coming on and the flashing purple LED caught me off guard though. Update completed

I always reboot my radio and do an export of my profiles (if they have changed) before every upgrade and have never had a problem with the firmware not updating.  Occasionally I have to manually reboot, but usually not.  And I change firmware in my radios several times a day.  More if I am testing new code.
