DJControl Not Showing Up In PSDR

I realize this forum is geared more toward the 6K radios but have not had any luck om the Yahoo reflector with my questions so here goes:
Wondering if any other DJControl users have had this problem and what they did to recover from it.
Win10
Latest PSDR 2.8
Flex 5000
VBCable and voicemeeter bananna used with same results (can't find VAC license info anymore)
DJControl 'used' to work fb.
Reloaded Win10 and had DJControl plugged into PC when reloading which may be the root cause. Have tried reinstalling PSDR, killing drivers that show up in Device Manager, and changing the USB port DJControl is plugged in to. Any other suggestions? Have already checked with KE9NS but he does not have a DJControl to reference.
Also still getting 'spur' transmission when in digital modes, both WSJT-X and flDigi. Unrelated to the above but still an issue. No problems making contacts though but afraid I might be causing unnecessary interference to others. The 'spur' is considerably smaller than the main peak and is within the transmitter passband but, again, it was not there before the Win10 (and everything else) reload. Can send screen dumps to anyone who might have a clue or just want to see what I'm talking about.
Thanks,
Mike / W8DN
