You can just create an unique account using your email address with the SmartLink server, then register that radio with your account.. You should see the blue "Log in " button right under the SmartSDR title..
Instructions are also in the SmartSDR User's Guide.

I don't feel like this question has been correctly answered. He needs to know how he can unregister the radio, then reregister it. I don't believe that was addressed in your answer.

You cant UNregister the radio. The V2.0 registration is fixed to hardware (=Radio) for lifetime
So Dudley is right.

Actually, you can unregister the radio from the SmartLink server, this is different than a SmartSDR subscription. I did this when I sold my 6500, so that the next user would be able to register using his own info. Note: I only sold the radio in order to buy a 6600M and I am currently suffering from Flex Withdrawal Syndrome due to the wait!1

Actually, the question was answered correctly by Dudley. Registering a radio un-registeres it from the previous SmartLink account. You can unregister a radio if you are logged into a SmartLink account and have physical access to the radio.0

This is why I would not trade in my 6300 when they wanted me to. Flex is always late in their delivery's in my experience. For what they offered me for it I may just keep it as a spare (I was where you are when I had to send mine in for repair)0
