usb port fuse?

the lower USB port on my 6700 has stopped working. I was using a hub to connect a few cables to it, for controlling my band decoder, bandpass filters, and my Quadra amplifier. I have moved the hub to the upper port, and everything powered up nicely, but the lower port still has no power. Power cycling the rig has no effect. So here are my questions...
Do the USB ports have a fuse protecting them from overloading?
If so, is that a user serviceable repair?

No fuses.
I suspect it can be repaired, but until we can check it out and determine the exact cause of the failure, I can't say for certain. Since the upper port works, that is a really good sign that the physical port itself has malfunctioned and a replacement is all that would be necessary, but this is entirely speculation on my part.
If you want to send it in for repair or wait until there is a complete failure of the USB ports (it may never happen), just open up a HelpDesk support ticket and we'll get you an RMA number so you can send it in.0 -
Ok. Thanks, Tim. I will hold off for the moment.0

I plugged in a Powered hub to the non-working port on the radio, and discovered that USB cables plugged into this hub work normally. That should help narrow down the problem quite a bit.0
