New Loop antennas for receive-is there a danger?

There are 3 Loop antennas on the market for receiving. Each has 12 volts which if shorted could come into the Flex Receiver. Is the Flex protected if this happens

There is an ESD diode that is designed to be a sacrificial component if the clamping voltage is exceeded.  12V is greater than the clamping voltage.  However, this is not a foolproof mechanism and if you are concerned, I'd install a lightning arrestor in the RF input signal path that is DC blocking, like the ICE designs (now Morgan Manufacturing and a variation of it sold by array solutions) that are designed to bleed off DC currents.  But you need to make sure the units are well grounded because they also function as lightning arrestors and those currents are much higher than 12 VDC.
