6600M question re menu / knob operation

Hi,
I have a 6600M on order at a UK dealer.
I have read the manual and it looks great!!
My question - when you call up a menu and see a slider adjustment and select this item can you use a knob to make adjustment or is it touch screen only?

    If the knob is assigned to that control function, you can use the knob.  Only the function buttons are user assignable.

    If there is a control on the touchscreen, you can use it too.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
