Upgrade to Version 2 upsetting the WIFI

With updating to Version 2 software, when I use the radio it reduces the home wifi a lot. Using the Flex6500 on a switch to PC and router wired connection. Even on the shack PC the internet drops. Any ideas out there?  Thanks  Andrew  GM0UDL

Andrew, is the shack PC on wifi or hard-wired? What type of wifi router are you using (802.11n, 802.11ac, etc?)

    Neal thanks for reply

    The router is a TP-Link td W8960n which covers 11n 11g and 11b.
The radio is wired to a switch TP-Link TL-SG105 5 port steel gigabit switch which goes to the PC and then to the router wired.
Does the new version of software use the internet more even though it is not remote and connected direct at the moment?

    Thanks Andrew

Yep, that is how wifi works, my friend.  Wi-Fi bandwidth is not an infinite resource.
