Win 10 Creators Upgrade - Slides in Easily

Did an early update of Windows 10 "creators update" aka. version 1709 on two PCs. For the first PC the update was applied straight up. Afterward upgrading all was well except DaX failed to start. A quick uninstall / reboot / install / reboot and the SSDR (V-2) was back in service. The side step required about 5 minutes and is not unexpected given the amount of updating to the OS. The temporary / old files left behind was around 30GB.
The second PC was updated but DaX was removed before the upgrade and re-installed after the update. The results, as expected was clean. The only hitch was the audio default device had to be re-selected.

Before V-2 of SSDT an occasional drop in the link to the 6500 was lost. This behavior is not observed after the SSDR updated to V-2. Even with 4 channels of WSJT (ft8 mode) running there are no problems observed.

The remote feature of Smartlink is interesting. On a  recent trip, the hotel WiFi was blocking the UDP (?) packets so only audio was available on the remote PC. The fallback is 3g/4g cellular via a hotspot, that works well and is consistently reliable.

Yes, I have upgraded 2 PCs, one my Flex PC to Windows 10 Creator's Edition (/1709).  No issues.  Everything works as before including VAX and COM ports.
