What is the difference  in remote LAN use and working with your P.C.? Are you mixing

remote LAN use with that of remote WAN use?

I had a similar problem when running remote using my laptop.  It ended up being my laptop charger.  I unplugged it and TX was nice and quiet.  I have a couple extra chargers and found one that was nice and quiet.  Problem solved.

Strange thing is when I use the troublesome charger/brick, I don't have the issue with noise when running either Echolink or RCForb.  It only happens when using SmartLink and only when the battery is nearly at a full charge.

I'm going to see if moving the cable around at different angles, or possibly adding a snap on filter will take care of the issue for me.

Are you using a laptop or are you using Maestro?   I'd check the power supply either way.
