Is there any way to change the value of the receiver filter choices in the RX panel ... SmartSDR 2.0

Hi Terry. You mean like how you can change the modes the buttons represent up on the panadpter flag? It doesn't seem possible though it could be useful.
I think something could be done easily by using macros say with DDUtil or maybe DXLab Commander. Not quite as integrated as your suggestion but something available today.

DDUTIL Macros are your friend! It took me about three years before I finally tried them...I wasted three good years of flexibility!
Not only can your design custom macros to set the bandwidth of a number of filters, you can also chain commands or macros together for a multi-function push button.
I have a single button that sets CW AGC to FAST, Filter Width to 50, and sets NR & APF to proper values for my normal CW contest setup. Another macro button turns NR & APF OFF and gives me a wider filter...etc....
You can also set up mode-specific macros that trigger when you change modes - for example, to automatically set things like AGC speed, NR setting, Filter bandwidth, etc....

Ddutil is a good suggestion for now... But I hope the new GUI person at FRS can look into the customization of these buttons and many other aspects of SmartSDR. This feature that Terry suggests has been asked several times before.1

Please add a similar request to allow the selecting modes available without having to use the drop down.0

You can change the three 'favorite' mode buttons as you like... Right click on the slice mode button and select a new favorite.

I didn't know about the "favorite modes" option. How long has that been in SSDR?0
-
As long as I have had a 6000 which is 2 1/2 years. So longer than that

Longer than that. Since 1.0 I believe.0

The answer is no, you cannot change the preset filter values. However, it is a feature request that is in the database slated for a future release of SmartSDR.0
