Amplifier remove

I see in the API that adding an amplifier is as follows:
C[D]<seq_number>|amplifier create ip=<ip_string> port=<port> model=<model_string> serial_num=<serial> ant=<radio_ant:amp_ant,...>
And I also see in FlexLib that "remove" is somehow used to remove an amplifier but I have not been able to find the right combination of commands to make it happen.
What command string do I send to the Radio to remove an amplifier that was created by the "amplifier create ...." string above?

Today, there is no amplifier remove command since the amplifier is removed when the amplifier client is disconnected.
The amplifier create command creates a binding between the connected client that created the amplifier and an amplifier structure in the radio. This allows that 'client' to send/receive meters, prevent the radio from transmitting with an interlock through the API etc. When the client disconnects from the radio, the radio removes the associated amplifier structures.0 -
Thanks Ed,
So the Amplifier entry (as seen in SmartSDR in the Control Panel view that appears for an Amplifier) goes away when the client that sent the "create amplifier ..." message disconnects. Is that correct?
I tried that with my API Tester. I sent an amplifier create command (from the example in the Wiki). It caused an Amplifier Control Panel to appear in SmartSDR. When I disconnected my client, the Amplifier Control Panel was not removed. Apparently, there are other messages that an Amplifier client sends that I have not accounted for (and are not in the Wiki?).
As a side note, SmartSDR closed for no apparent reason some minutes after I disconnected my client. The Radio picker now says "There are currently no radios available ...." even though my Radio still seems to be available. I had to do a forced shutdown of the Radio to have it reappear in the Radio Picker.
Perhaps at some point there will be some sort of document describing the Amplifier client behavior in detail.
Thanks again,
Doug0
