V2.0 LE installation

Have installed V2.0, have account at server, i click my F6 and the FRS show window pop up, i add to chart ( TRX ID is included) = 199 US$

Have a LE Edition, so my serial number must not be stored as shop system?

    Hi Chris,

    LE radios were supposed to be pre-authorized for 2.0. If you're having problems and your radio is showing up as needing a license, contact support and they'll work it out for you.

    OK, have never this service. Have to check what email address i have to use.

    ... a very nice for question for FRS i have too: in FRS shop only can US Ham's - we EU's since a year not longer can order any parts

    I believe EU hams can only order the 2.0 licenses in the store, but anything else needs to be purchased from authorized dealers. This is due to regulatory issues that dealers are better equipped to handle.

    I installed V2.0, and registered with SmarkLink, but was never presented with a License Require/Buy option.  The software is running fine on my 6500, but when I attempt to test the SmartLink in automatic mode (my router does support uPNP), it returns a red circle.  Something must be missing somewhere.  Any ideas before I do an uninstall and reinstall?

    Make sure UPnP is enabled on your router.  If you have UPnP view capability in your router, then you should see the two ports opened by your radio.

    If not, you will need to set up manual port forwarding if your router does not support UPnP.  This is covered in the Troubleshooting section in the SmartLink Quick Start Guide for SmartSDR.

    Uninstall and reinstall won't have an effect on this problem. Hover the mouse cursor over the Test result (red) dot. The system will show information about the port status.

    I would power cycle the radio once, with DC off during the cycle, to give the radio a clean shot at setting up the ports.

    Make sure UPnP is actually enabled in the router.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
