CWX Macros
Patrick Moonen
Member
I bought a flex radio from someone else. This person had created macros in CWX. Have the software now installed on the PC here and the macros of this person are in my CWX. I have created other macros today and when I restart my software, these have been deleted and the old macros are returned from the other person. How can I fix this that I can start with a blank F1 to F12.

Pat,
Click on CWX at the bottom of the screen, retype your values for F1 through F12, then save a new profile. You may also want to look at the profiles that the previous owner created and either edit or delete them.0 -
Here is what I do: Click on CWX Click on SETUP Then enter text in whatever slot I want Click on LIVE To send I use whatever F key has the message I want If there is data already in the slot you want, highlight it then over write using the method above0

Let me suggest that you reset the radio to "factory" settings. This will clear all profiles and such that were created by the previous owner, and reset the radio to the out of the box factory condition. Then start the process of building up a set of profiles, CWX macros, memories, transverter settings, USB cable settings, etc., from scratch. I think you'll spend less time and get cleaner results.
