No official comment from the Flex management.

Actually, there have been many Flex employee comments.

We cannot work and plan with just comments Michael.

We need firm commitments or statements of intent from the decision makers.

Comments and assumptions are 'The Mother of all ****ups', is'nt that partly why the World is in such a mess today

Flex has always  been:

• Developed for a Windows Platform by FRS 
• IOS app is developed by a Flex Partner - available in the Apple Store http://www.flexradio.com/amateur-products/flex-6000-signature-series/smartsdr-for-ios/
• Mac laptop/desktop software and support is by DogPark Software  https://www.dogparksoftware.com/dogparkSDR.html
• Flex has published all the API's allowing anyone to develop their interface - as many have done http://www.flexradio.com/amateur-products/flex-6000-signature-series/smartsdr-api/
• At this time FRS has no Android plans as the development and support is very complicated resulting in any code that anyone would write would have to compiled and QA'd on each and every version from each and every cellular provider.  This makes it cost prohibitive as part of a software product life cycle. 

That pretty  much covers it.  You should now  be able to make any plans you made need to make.  If you follow the above, there are no assumptions or rumours.
