What is the function of the LCD display and buttons on the front panel of the Flex 6500?

    By the way, the front panel also gives a brief warning when power supply voltage has dropped below a recommended value.  I briefly see it when I turn off the DC supply after shutting down the 6700.

    This is normal, as the supply voltage has dropped below 9.5 VDC, the minimum operating voltage.
