General Coverage Receive: Slice A stuck to the left of the SDR screen and I can't Move it

** I think I have it resolved ** operator error
When I bring up general coverage on my 6700 by clicking on Band|Gen the slice A menu shows up on the far left of the SDR screen. If I try to move it to the center of the SDR screen I just hear a bunch of relay clicks and the Slice A menu jumps back to the left.
I can bring up the desired frequency via direct entry, but I can't drag Slice A or move the entire spectrum without it moving back to the far left.
I can receive fine.
Any ideas?
