Flex SSDR Cat not working
Pat N6PAT
Member ✭✭
Everything working fine last night and then when I boot up my computer this morning I get the following:
I get the same message when I try to start Cat after I boot up the Flex
Running v1.9.7.169 with a F6.7K in Windows 8.1
Anyone else having this issue?

I'm guessing you have tried rebooting. You could try re-installing SSDR if that doesn't work try a clean install by doing a full uninstall of all FlexRadio programs, reboot, and re-install. If that doesn't help then I would suggest open a support ticket with FlexRadio.

Was this after a windows update?0

Last week I had a situation where my SSDR Cat would only connect for a couple of seconds, then disconnect (indicating NONE as the CAT process). Reloading SSDR from scratch solved the problem. As Ria mentioned, this problem seems to occur whenever I get a Windows update, but (so far) I've found that reinstalling SSDR fixes the problem. Odd situation, but at least I found a work around.

I've had it happen once and that was after the Windows 10 anniversary update. I think it corrupts or does something else to the drivers or something.

Very strange.I uninstalled and reinstalled SSDR then got the following:
For some reason it didn't reinstall the drivers. So I uninstalled and reinstalled again and this time it worked. There were no recent Windows updates and it was working fine when I shut down last night.
Oh well, at least it's working now. Thanks for the help

If you need the Flex VSP driver to be install, here where you can find the installation software to do it: C:/program files/flexradio systems/flexVSP/flexVSPInstallller_64
That's where I found mine in. Hope this helps
