Have slow DSL here and considering Fiber FIOS here or a Faster DSL
Have 1MBytes Download with 484KBytes Upload.
Barely enough for VPN Remote with all FPS/Waterfall/Min Window Size
with SoftEther VPN with Ras-Pi & VPN
Rx Audio get choppy when listening at my StarBucks Coffee Shop when
operating remote with Flex6700 with SSDR on my PC Netbook Acer Aspire
SW10
Wondering if new proposed WAN by Flex will relieve that issue or will
a faster Upload/Download be needed more so than with VPN remote
An comments or thoughts

P.S. : Almost ready to sign up for Fiber FIOS 50/50 Mbytes Upload/Download

It isn't a speed issue. It is a latency issue.
Can you run tests these tests and see if your bufferbloat numbers are better than C.
if it is an F, then that has to be solved. Past in your result.

it's both: Latency and Speed

I have successfully run remote on my 6300 with much less than 1Mb/sec. If your router does not have any bufferbloat issues, that is all you require.
If you have BB issues, those needs to be solved or you will drop packets and your experience will be poor.
Right now, one one of my connections, my bufferbloat rating is an F. When it is F, the radio is not usable.

For the bare minimum I've streamed over 3G without issue. Beyond that, don't push it.
If you can get FiOS, get it.0 -
Yes, my Bufferbloat is F at Starbucks when it gets crowded there with lots of
Internet users and at Home my Bufferbloat changes from C to F depending on the time of day0 -
When I go to DSLreports and get an F for Bufferbloat, they say I can get a Different Modern that fixes this latency issue for $150
Any Comments welcome

Will the IQ router work with FIOS, right now on slow DSL0
-
My Bufferbloat is F with my slow DSL, but my
ham neighbor has 50/50 Up/Down with Buffrbloat at C
Can get same FIOS as him, wondering if the IQ router will help in the FIOS 50/50 Bufferbloat C situation and improve things or just wasting money for the IQ router
once I get FIOS0
