Bandmaster III USB-to-Serial setup

I received my Array Solutions BandMaster III in the mail about 2 weeks ago, and a usb-to-serial DB9M converter (yesterday, genuine FTDI chip). I tried to setup the system but realised I actually have very little, to no idea what l'm supposed to do.

I also read the setup for parallel BCD; but from what I understand the cables, etc. which I have available, will not work in this configuration.

I'm running the Flex 6300 with V1.10 SSDR and wonder if it is possible to use the latest SSDR USB setup and the BandMaster as a serial link (via usb-to-serial adapter/converter). Has anyone connected the BandMaster via this serial method??

It would wonderful if someone could perhaps share the steps I need to follow, and/or have detailed configuration examples or screenshots.

    Andre, I've only configured the Bandmaster III using BCD per the data in the USB Cables Interface for the Flex-6000 guide. I'm running two of these dedicated to ANT 1 and ANT 2 for SO2R. I've never had luck getting them to work in serial mode. I recommend you call Jay at Array Solutions. He's the expert. I realize you're out of the U.S. but that is probably your fastest way to success. Mack W4AX Alpha Tester

    Refer to the instruction in the USB Cable Document http://www.flexradio.com/downloads/usb-cable-interface-guide-pdf/ Make sure you have the correct USB to serial cable

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
