flex control

Every time I reboot or shutdown my computer running Windows 10 I have to pull the USB cable on the Flex Control and than put it back in for the Flex Control to work.
What could be the problem?

    Go into device manager and find the port that FlexControl uses. Right-click on Propertues, advanced, and reassign the port to something like 100, or something else high that is unused.
