Windows Update and CAT Problems

Last night i had a Windows 10 update.  Today I found that my login pin to Windows 10 no longer worked after the update.  Got that resolved and found that SmartCAT com4 had an error.  I followed Tim's write-up:  https://helpdesk.flexradio.com/hc/en-us/articles/204975589-How-to-do-a-Complete-uninstall-of-SmartSD...
This resolved the problem with the CAT and all is well now.

    I had a similar problem with SmartCAT. All my ports had an error, " has COMxxx open which is needed by this port". Doing a 'Repair' on FlexRadio Systems FlexVSP in Programs and Features resolved the issue for me.

    Had a similar problem after Windows 10 Update.  Had to reload the Flex VSP drivers and now all OK.  Seems like after every big Windows 10 Update, something gets hosed requiring fixing.

    Next time I will remember about fixing VSP. At least this time I was able to clean out older versions of SDR. Don - kx9q
